Junior Achievement of East Texas Receives Five Star Award

Junior Achievement of East Texas celebrated recently receiving one of the Junior Achievement USA’s highest honors, the Five Star Award, Monday at the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Green received the JA USA’s “Rising Star” award, which is given to “emerging leaders within the organization who demonstrate outstanding success in executing their responsibilities.”
