When our students know where they are going …
we all advance

JA INSPIRE VIRTUAL
Is more than a carrier fair; it brings together the business
community and local schools, and is designed to help launch
middle school and high school students into their future high school, college and carriers beyond. The program consist in three
segments: (1) pre-event curriculum that may be teacher-led in the classroom, delivered via a remote learning session, or completed by students using the self-guided curriculum; (2) Virtual carrier expo experience; and (3) post-event debrief.

Research has shown that students with visions of what they want to do after high school are better primed for success. How do they develop those visions? From enriching in-classroom and extracurricular activities, designed to build self-awareness and expose them to the world of business. Students with such experiences are much more likely to stay in school, take relevant courses, and graduate. Post-graduation, they’re prepared and motivated to enter college, skilled trade, or national service—and to succeed, there and in life.
Using virtual technology, JA Inspire features a career fair filled with local business exhibits providing downloadable career information and exhibitor videos.
